The first thing players do when they begin Guncrafter is come to some primary menu. This is where they can chose to build their gun. Players will come to a display with a grid, which says how big the firearm can be, and pieces, which may be pieced together to build the gun.
As players play more and unlock more modes, bigger guns can be created by them and become more creative. Once players finish their firearm, they can take it to a shooting range. Players have the option of practicing and then once they go into an actual match, they will be playing against someone online.
In the shooting range, targets are shot by players which are made from blocks and whoever gets the most points wins.
The only drawback is that most of the firearms fire the same, so if players assemble a smaller firearm as well as a complex gun it will just shoot. This portion of the game may be a turn off for some players who are into hardcore shooting games. The controls will take a while to master also. Patting the screen makes your gun shoot and tilting the apparatus will alter your objective.
Guncrafter's graphics are incredibly similar to Minecraft, which is marginally clear given the pun. The guns are formed - like building pieces and the shooting ranges are made of the same fashion.
They are not intended to be, seeing as they were meant to reflect Minecraft's graphics although the images are not complex. As you go into this game, don't wait to be impressed by the graphics. You'll be familiar with them, in case you have previously played Minecraft.
